back for the moment.
I've been bumming over at Godma's since friday and all that I've been doing is EAT!
had a late lunch at the airport in a IndoRestaurant after jie touched down. I actually liked their fried fish when I'm not a very beeeg fan of them. then jie had her much missed chendol, hahaha awwwesooome! went back to settle her luggage at home before cabbing to visit auntie pauline.
it's probably my first time meeting auntie pauline since I was a child (anw, I just cant rmb who she is). didnt know what to expect and undeniably, I didnt even wanna go for fear of not knowing what to say or do. but all that I had anticipated was a lie. auntie pauline didnt need any comfort nor sympathy 'cause she has so much hope and faith that carries her through each passing instant. her voice though wading, almost diminished, the present could hear and empathize the conviction in her tone and diction. In particular, she had eyes that spoke more than words could express. not to sound cliche, but did I see living (for real) in her fighting spirit. if anyone were to shed a tear, it wouldnt be for a lost cause but because she
is winning the battle.
after which, mummy treated us to tai seng turtle soup! whoopee! (: I'll let your taste buds bring you through the experience. hahaha.
6Hopers finally reunited at marche/coffeebean on the 2nd of dec after 2 to 3 gruelling teenage years in seperate secondary schools. it was Ze most fantastic time I've had in these yrs, filling every place with ringing laughter. (: and I cant wait till the 27th!
headed down to church for potluck with SALT for uncle B's farewell. :/ wanted to cry so badly but I didnt wanna make a scene. hur.
sunday was an early day. didnt manage to carry out the session as planned due to an unusually small turn out so phyllis, caleb, jolyn, henry and I went to town to do
alil Christmas shopping. lol. actually, I think they were just acc-ing me. :x gen.......... haha! anw! I bought a reeally cool bag! oh yes, that brings me to caleb! damn that boy is one crappy fella.
salesgirl: we only have one of each colour.
me: OH! so there's only one of this blue and that red and black? *COOL!*
caleb: yes! and there is just one of *steps front* ME!!!

oh fyi, I got the blue one in the end. (: and loving it very much!
it seemed like the more active SD churches were in town yesterday altogether. how coincidental eh? it was good to see oliver, daniel, beatrice and brenda after such a long time. (: sweet.
Godma brought us to chomps last night and I had ALL that I ever wanted! hehehe... hokkien mee, oysters, sting ray, you char kuay, fried carrot cake and sugar cane! *heaves contently*
ahh finally finally, TODAY! well, let's see, I'm back home to deliver 2boxes of banana cake which Godma and jiejie had baked the day before and to bring somemore stuff over for my stay. I've sorted out my secondary school junk for space and well, thought that clearing up the place could be some kinda mental and physical prep for the next yr. haa. and I'll be back to do more on another day. last but not least, I chanced on smth that has made my mind leap into what you call "wild conclusions" but you wouldnt understand unless you're in my shoes. SIGH. I'll be over it as soon as I can.
now, I'm about to go back to Godma's to bathe and get ready for japanese tonight! :D
ps: BEWARE! the gen you're abt to meet next yr will be 3times the size she was.
