28th March:
wouldnt it be nice...if persistence didnt take so long. ((:
TODAY
wouldnt it be nice...if a longer wait meant better results.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EJ!you're a guy with charactor without a soul.
it's impossible to love you.

there's nothing more dangerous than a boy with charm...Candyman, Christina Aguilera
best sums up what I have to say for now,
and smile -
I'm not at your beck and call.

it's a new term with
almost entirely new faces and teachers, argh. surely the worst of the lot would be - DgayT. I dont mean to be a rude but the way he speaks fuels an incredible-hulk rage within the serenity of my soul. sigh I guess I'll come to accept him sometime... later on.
went out with nat for lunch today but it wasnt as satisfying as before. ah wells. then emms came to join us and we headed to topshop - met renee and gabe there. HA! as usual, saya kena bullied. bloody hell.
I'm beautiful and to die for. HAHA! (:

I'm at my wits end tonight.

wouldnt it be nice...if, on gray, gloomy days, I could fly above the clouds and play in the sunshine.
this morning's Oprah's show on cable was on special moments for her producers where they talked about Mattie Stepanek - a child-poet, born of a rare form of mascular dystrophy, speaking of "wisdom boyond his years". in the short abstract from his apperance on the Oprah Show, Oprah asked why he chose these 3 wishes:
to have his poems published, to meet his hero Jimmy Carter and to share his message of peace on The Oprah Winfrey Show, he explained,
"Because they were things that would last forever. Going to Disney World ends in a week. But being able to talk with Jimmy Carter, being able to have my books published, being able to talk to you here today, lasts forever."and all he said only proves that "not everyone can be famous but everyone can be great" (Martin Luther King, Jr.).
good day to everyone!
ALLELUIAH!

wednesday morning spent at home! ya hear me?? :D ahh then again, there's a not a working thermometer at home that measures accurate temperature.
nevermind that. God will provide.
(not a thermometer but better health, duh!)
yesterday, nat and I paise a visit to the Historial Museum but only managed to complete the living galleries as the historical gallery was closed by the time we got there. :/ hmm. anw, there were recorded tracks of local rock 'n roll bands from the 60's in the fashion gallery and with all the hype about supporting local bands now, I thought it'd be great to have a sneak preview of what they had back then... CHEESY LYRICS!
think my babe is sweetthink my babe is nicethink my babe is a bundle of sugar and spicesounded like he was singing to a powerpuff girl to me. LOL.

ANTIBIOTICS - biotizes me! (:
there's a budding genius in our midst. haa!
Monday, March 12, 2007 10:30 pm
made my second trip to the clinic in 5days about an hour ago and the doctor prescribed antibiotics with a catch - if the fever doesnt subside by wednesday morning, I'll have to get my blood tested.
NO!!! PLEASE!!! GOD!!!
the last time I had a jab, they injected smth into me and I thought it was bad enough. imagine how I'll feel if they were to (literally) suck my blood! needles will always have smth to do with taboo vis a vis how witches play with voodoo dolls!
I DONT WANNA BE A VOODOO DOLL!
hopefully, these poisonous-ly coloured capsules would prove as domineering as they look.
I'VE HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH!
wouldnt it be nice...if I could always forget as easily as I can sometimes forgive.
how apt, aye?
where's gabe when I need him?
Sunday, March 11, 2007 10:50 pm
ok, new skin. just thought I needed one.
still running a fever but finally managed a pill abt an hour ago.
God! pls recover me asap... moping around could do serious heart damage.
here's another new feature - a comments archive. feel free.
DOR's approach is worrying. we only had one practice and I'm alrdy dried up; what more for the rest of the week? we need a miracle.
somedays I feel broke inside but I wont admit...:/
vomitted a few minutes ago in my attempt to swallow a tablet, then I teared. the weekend is worst than I thought.

was reality only a dream?
or am I hoping for a dream come true?
---
Iwo Jima is
overly overrated. haa, I just cant find better synonyms to stress the excessive hype abt it. the only thing that prolly kept us awake was Saigo, the gary-look-alike in the movie. hehehe! and we've all found our new liking for kasutera cakes (whatever they may be).
belinda, anna, dawn and I caught "Out of Order" by Ray Cooney at the DBS arts centre and it was AWESOME! (: boy, I laughed til I was breathless. I guess it made up for the time wasted in the morning.
when will Christmas come again? cos I'm gonna start behaving so Santa would send me what I want for this season.
Wednesday, March 07, 2007 10:32 pm
emms and dawn came to visit me today, with half a watermelon! :D sweetness! couldnt find their way at first, they went around calling and sticking their ears to doors to hear if it's ringing inside. lol, how can I be more grateful for such funny angels. THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!
I wonder if anyone else would care enough to, the very least, be UNDERSTANDING.
wouldnt it be nice...if there were a time limit on complaining.
I need another saturday-night-coffee just to get away with my heart for alil while...
and just to be with
you.
on days like this, I only wanna run away with my heart. it sucks to be ill and still have so much on my mind to think about.
I'll see everyone INCL. BEN at 7pm in the saltroom tonight.frank had it - autocracy rocks! (:
Sunday, March 04, 2007 10:48 pm
the weekend was good(: thanks to tiff, I got tickets to Fall Out Boy's concert! haha, I'm not much of a fan, so,
big deal. it was an awesome experience though! really. thank God Frank came cos I wouldve been shoved to death if he hadnt held onto me.
salt session today was extremely emotional... esp when the video came on, I teared uncontrobably at it. then pop daniel shared smth that I thought was best to sum up today's session:
beyond that desperation, He will come...based on John 14:1-4
henry and I went jalan jalan at the grand cathay and guess what? I tripped and HE CAUGHT ME! tsk. so embarrassing, I couldnt stop laughin' at myself. lol.
so this is it for the weekend.
Lord, I am ready for a new week ahead!peace, yo! (:
Saturday, March 03, 2007 12:45 pm
URGH!.. I just knew that I wouldnt be seeing him this weekend. ): it's only been a week - exactly how fast do
bad habits form.
tiffany has tickets to FOB concert tonight and I've got one! yay! :D I'm kinda excited but I know that he'll be on my mind. pfft, bloody darn spoiler there. I really wonder if he'd ask me out if he isnt workin' tonight, haa. here's alil consolation - at least I've got
the stuff with me. :S ... but it's not quite sinkin' in.
last night's meeting went pretty well, I thought. everyone contributed a fair share of songs and comments. (: cant express how pleased I was and especially for Henry to take up the role of a leader. *applauses* practices are gonna begin tmr if we manage to get the songs out by tonight. I'm so excited!
daily masses have been doing me great for the past week and something miraculous happened on my way to church one day, when I was waiting with nat at the bus stop. it was pouring like pigs and elephants and she said, "you're facing the church but it's raining so heavily. God is obviously placing an obstacle infront of you." after which, she left and I was abt to cross the traffic light and a man who came up to me with an umbrella offered to shelter me right into church even though he wasnt heading in that direction! :D
Praise be to God, Alleluiah!another enlightening moment was, one day at mass, I sat next to my nanny when I was little. I always had smth against her cos my most horrid days were under her care. to my astonishing surprise, she pulled me close for a hug as a sign of peace! who wouldve thought that a self-centred-old-lady who scringed on rice for a pre-primary kid would show such affection in the midst of a crowd in the house of God? as Dawn had nicely put it, "it was as though all barriers had been broken".
spending quality time with God has made me much calmer than before.
wouldnt it be nice...if sleep were programmable to "late" on Saturdays.
